Ames High School Class of 1946

Our first reunion planning meeting was held in Don Payer's office in Ames on Monday, June 12th.  Those attending were Don, Marie Hart, Paulie Williams and Ed Nass.  During the meeting David Lantz and his wife dropped in to say hello.  Their only suggestion for the 55th was to "keep it that same as the 50th."  A general format was laid out for a three day reunion pretty much along the same lines as before.

On July 4th, 2000, a group of classmates of the class of '46 met in Ames at Hickory Park for dinner.  Then we adjourned to Don and Jan Payer's home for dessert and conversation.

Those attending were Dick and Louise Berhow, Don and Jan Payer, Floyd Christopherson and his wife, John and Marie Hart, Bob and Pauline Williams, and Ed and Marj Nass.  We swapped the same old stories, had the same old laughs and got updated on each other's lives.
