Farmers Mutual Telephone Cooperative of Shellsburg provides a variety of services through Iowa Network Services including Internet access, paging, caller ID number class, voice mail, calling card, 800 service, long-distance, SS7 switching, along with state of the art 100% digitally switched calling since 1989. Local service is provided to 2258 access lines including Alburnett, Benton Township, Shellsburg, and Urbana. Cable TV is provided to 2976 customers in the towns of Alburnett, Center Point, Central City, Coggon, Delhi, Holy Cross, Hopkinton, Luxemburg, New Vienna, Robins, Ryan, Shellsburg, Urbana, and Worthington. DBS is administered to 2250 customers in Benton and Delaware counties and these additional zip code cities; Alburnett, Center Point, Central City, Coggon, LaPorte City, Palo, and Walker. We are also a shareholder in Iowa Network Services.
