The C-M-L Telephone Cooperative is headquartered in the community of Meriden, in Cherokee County of northwest Iowa. It is member owned and serves the communities of Cleghorn, Larrabee and Meriden in Cherokee County and Archer in O'Brien County. Along with these communities, it also serves approximately 225 square miles of rural Cherokee and O'Brien counties.
An all buried telephone plant with second generation digital switches allows the most up to date telephone services to be offered at extremely attractive rates. Through our part ownership in FiberNet Communications and Iowa Network Services, Equal Access Long Distance Services and High Capacity Point to Point Services are provided over a "State of the Art" Sonit/Dual Ringed Fiber Optic Network equal to any in the world. A full complement of Advanced Custom Calling Features are also available, including Caller ID.
Long Distance Services, Business and Personal 800 Services, Statewide Paging, voice messaging and toll free, 56K dial-up Internet Access with full EMAIL, TELNET, FTP, News Groups, and World Wide Web services are also available through our ownership in Iowa Network Services. Please note, our 56k dial-up Internet service is also available to telephone subscribers in the Cherokee, Iowa telephone exchange.
Our business is Communications Services and we intend to provide those services to our customers the way our customers want them -- State of the Art and at affordable rates!
