Sometimes digging through the Start menu can get tiresome, but you can easily add an icon to the desktop for anything on your PC.

1. Find the item in your Start Menu you'd like to have on the desktop as a shortcut.

2. Right-click on the item and choose "SEND TO." Then choose " Desktop (create shortcut)."

That's it, your item is now present on your desktop as a shortcut!
