Yes, and to enable that function is very easy. These are the steps for Outlook Express, but most e-mail clients have a similar option.

1. Click on TOOLS then on OPTIONS

Click on the SECURITY tab and click the empty box next to "Always check spelling before sending". Click OK and you are done!
