Question:
Richard from southeast Iowa asks:
How do I save a picture that was e-mailed to me to the "My Documents" folder in .jpg format?
Answer:
Saving pictures from e-mails is a great way to have whatever photos were attached at your fingertips whenever you want to view them. To save an attached photo to your computer:
1. Open the e-mail.

2. Right-click on the image you wish to save and click on "Save Image" or "Save Image As" depending on what type of email program you are using.
3. This brings the "Save Image" screen. On the left hand side are shortcut buttons, and if you wish to save to the "My Documents" folder, click on that button. To save in a specific format, where it says "Save as type" you can choose any of the available formats. In this case, by clicking on the "My Documents" button and selecting "JPEG Image" as the type, this image will be saved there in that format.
